Founded by Farah in Durban, South Africa, Made Up By Far began in 2018 with makeup artistry — a love for helping women feel seen, confident and beautifully themselves. Our original motto being: “natural beauty first” growing into “enhancing unique features and promoting self-confidence”. What began behind the makeup chair has since evolved into something much bigger.

Today, Made Up By Far exists at the intersection of beauty, style, creativity, brand and business.

From professional makeup artistry, bridal and occasion beauty, private lessons and creative direction, to statement adornments, curated style, brand-led creative work, and business development - every expression of Made Up By Far is connected by the same belief: the details we choose tell a story about who we are — and who we are becoming.
